The chart illustrates the average hours per day that people spent on different activities divided into two age groups in the US.
The most striking feature is that people at the age of 75 or more spent 4.5 hours per day watching TV, while they invested approximately 0.2 hours to do any sports exercise and recreation. It is also noteworthy that individuals aged between 15-19 devoted almost 2.5 hours per day wathing television, however, relaxing and thinking only took nearly 0.1 hours of their day. What is more, it is also noticeable that people aged 15-19 and 75 or above spent roughly the same amount of time socializing and communicating per day. Moreover, there is a marked difference between the average time that spent individuals aged between 15 and 19 and aged 75 and over. While elderlies readed 1 hour per day teenagers not even spet half an hour in front of a book.
In conclusion, we can see that the older generation spent significantly more time with some activities such as Wathing TV or reading than the youths, but it is opposite is also true that playing games or computer using in leisure time or sports activites were more famuous in the groups of people aged 15-19.
