It is clear that the highest amount of money was spent on every three European countries. By contrast, the quantity of money spent on CDs was lowest in three European countries.
In terms of smartphones, consumer expenditure was higher in Germany and Italy than in Spain, at just under 140 thousand and 120 thousand pounds, respectively. The people of Germany also consumed more money on books, at around 110 thousand pounds than the people of Italy and Spain, at about 90 thousand pounds and at approximately 100 thousand pounds.
Germany spent more money on the perfumes than Italy and Spain at 100 thousand and at 80 thousand and just over 80 thousand pounds, respectively. The people of Germany spent more money on toys at almost 110 thousand pounds than the people of Italy at around 70 thousand pounds.
On the other hand, spending on the rest of items was higher in Germany and Italy, while approximately 130 thousand pounds was spent on laptops in Germany & Italy, the figure for Spain was 100 thousand pounds. The amount of money spent on CDs was about 30 thousand pounds in Germany and nearly 40 thousand pounds in Italy.
