The line graph illustrates the average cost of a monthly contract for different mobile phones in a European country from January to September 2002 . Cost are measured in euros.

Overall , Domo , Lex and Sem TX saw an upward trend over nine – month period ,while the cost for Alpha is fluctuated and began to fall comparing to start . Domo demonstrated the most expensive cost for service for the most of period , but it was overtaked by Sem TX in September.

In January, Domo was the highest contract at 15 euro per month , it cost rising peaking at 25 euro per month in July , later fell to 23 euro. The Lex started with 12 euro per month and showed stable growth from March to June and then surged to 18 euro in September. Alpha started at about 9 euro and rose to 14 euro in June , but then it decreased to 8 euro in September. Sem TX started with the cheapest price 5 euro , even though it’s shot up for 25 euro and became the most expensive in September.
