The line graph provides information about the average price of contracts for four types of cell phones per month in a certain European country between January and September in 2002. Overall, we can see that almost all sorts of mobile phones showed an upward trend except for Alpha, which contract increased gradually, but in the middle of the period it dropped noticeably. The dominator of the chart was Demo; however, at the end it was surpassed by the Sim TX’s deal, which started at the lowest point of the graph. The cost of contracts for Lex cell phones experienced a consistent rise.
Commencing with around 9 euros in January, the cost of Lex’s contracts decreased slightly to about 7 euros in February. Despite the reduction in February, the figure for Alpha grew steadily to approximately 14 euros in June, but this was followed by a further decline and ended up with 6 euros in September, the lowest price among four different cell phones. Meanwhile, Demo’s contract cost was 15 euros in January, which was the highest point at the beginning. This was followed by a further dramatic climb, reaching around 26 euros in July, at this point it attained the peak of the graph. However, in the end the figure for the Demo phones’ deal’s cost reduced moderately to 22 in September.
Before falling to 10 euros in February, the cost of the Lex cell phones’ contract was approximately 12 euros in January. But this was followed by a further increase, ending up with 17 euros in September. Nevertheless, the figure for Sim TX began with 5 euros, which was the lowest price of the chart, and practically leveled off until June. After that, the amount of the deal cost skyrocketed to 13 euros in August and eventually gained dominance in September with 25 euros per month.
