The line graph gives information about how many crimes were committed in Manchester city over a 10-year period between 2003 and 2012.

Overall, it is evident that the figure for burglar decreased considerably, while opposite was true for that for car theft over given period. Moreover, although the number of robbery saw same fluctuation, it returned to its initial position.

Looking at the rate of burglar, even though it saw a slight rise from 2003 to 2004 (about 3400 and 3700 respectively), there was a dramatic drop, showing a bit below 1400in 2012. When it comes to the number of car theft committed, in 2003, it showed around 2300, and this experienced a period of instability until 2009, remaining initial figure. After that, car theft underwent slow improvement from 2300 in 2009 to 2800 in 2012.

Regards the number of robbery, 500 was initial figure for it. Firstly, that number rose steadily to approximately 900 in 2005. However, it witnessed a gradual decrease, showing 500 in 2012.
