The graph illustrates the change in rate of criminal activities in Panama in a decade.
Overall, two criminal activities have remained almost same whereas burglary have seen to be decreased over period of time.
Among three crimes in 2010, burglary was more prevalent (around 3500) compared to car theft (around 2800) and robbery (around 700). Burglaries have slightly increased from 2010 to 2011, reaching a peak of almost 3750 incidents. Later numbers have decreased drastically from 2011 to 2013 which kept decreasing till 2015. Although there was slight increase in rate, it remained almost constant throughout reaching almost 1500 incidents in 2019.
Beside burglary, car robberies have second highest incidents in 2015. Robbery was least occurred. The rate of robbery is almost constant with slight increase from 2010 to 2012, little decrease from 2012 to 2015. Whereas, in case of car theft the number of incident is almost constant from 2010 to 2012 but there in large dip in 2013 which later climbed slowly reaching almost 2800 incidents in 2019.
