To begin with, in 2010, burglary was the most common crime, with around 3,400 incidents, and then it rose slightly and reached a peak at 3700 in 2011. After that, the number kept falling significantly, and by 2015, the burglary rate was 1000. As of 2019, after some fluctuation, the number of burglaries stood at approximately 1500 in Panama City.

Furthermore, while the crime rate of robberies was approximately 700 in 2010, car theft was roughly three times higher. Afterward, in 2013, car theft experienced a remarkable decline to 2000. Meanwhile, car theft rose steadily to finish at 3000 incident in 2019, while robbery starting and ending at about 700, with only minor fluctuations throughout the period.
