The chart depicts the changing rate of three different crime in new Port Citycentre between 2003 and 2002.
Overall, it can be seen that the number of burglary committed experienced a downward trend throughout the whole period, while car theft, and robbery remained unchanged with some fluctuations throughout.
In detail, in 2003 burglary was the most committed crime with approximately 3500 incidents reported , which minimally rose, reaching its peak at 3800 in 2004. However, this number dramatically declined hitting a low point of around 1100 case registered in 2008. In addition, after a slight rise in 2009 ,this figure fluctuated around 1500 occurrences between 2009 and 2012. in contrast, around 2700 car thief incident was recorded and it was relatively unchanged until 2005. The number of car thief sharply decreased to almost 2000, before significantly increasing and reaching the same level as 2003 in 2012 making it the most common Committed crime .
On the other hand, Robbery was the least committed crime with 600 case recorded in 2003. This figure hovered around approximately 1000 -500 incidents between 2004 and 2012 and reached 600 cases in 2012.
