Overall, while shopping and sports were the most liked leisure activity amoung boys, girls, on the other hand, preferred listening to music or playing computer games. Computer games and shopping were the least favoured activities among boys and girls respectively and music was favoured equally by girls and boys.
In terms of boys, shoping, with just under 35%, was the most favoured way of spending free time and it almost doubled the interest of computer games, which accounted for approximately 15%. Sports and music constituted just above 25% and roughly under 20% respectively.
Meanwhile, girls had no interest in shopping so it accounted for around 5%, whereas computer games almost threefolded with just above 15%. Furthermore, sports comprised just above 10%, while music roughly doubled it with approximately 20%.
