Ceramics and film making accounted for approximately 26 and 22 million respectively, while photography had the lowest figure, at only 8 million. By 2000, painting, sculpting and poetry had fallen to 20, 10 and 16 million respectively, while film making and performing arts increased to 30 and 35 million.
By 2050, film making and performing arts are predicted to reach 40 million each. Photography is also expected to rise considerably to 30 million. In contrast, sculpting is projected to fall to just 5 million, while poetry is expected to decline to 10 million.
