Additionally, the figure for Portugal and Pakistan experienced a downward trend in the course of three years while the converse was seen in their counterparts.
As inferred from the bar chart above, Portugal and China held the highest film output. In 2007, The Portuguese produced the most number of movies at roughly 86, a figure which remained unchanged in the following year. Despite having a slight decline in 2009, reducing its output to 80, Portugal was still the leading figures compared to other countries. Likewise, though commencing the period at 50 movies, China witnessed a sharp increase to 70, thus dominating the chart alongside Portugal.
In contrast, the remaining nations produced a relatively lower number of films. Both Bangladesh and Iran, although experiencing a comparable upward trajectory, remained below 20 movies at approximately 16 and 11 respectively by the end of the period. Similarly, Pakistan ended the timeframe at roughly 12 films despite witnessing a downward trend.
