Overall, Finance and I.T. sectors have displayed a jump in the amount of applications and it is predicted that they will increase even more. On the other hand, education and retail industries have decreased to a large extent and they are predicted to show even lower numbers in 2035.
In 2015, the finance industry had 250 applicants, and climbed to rougly 360 in just a decade, and it is predicted that in 2035, numbers would reach approximately 430. Similarly, I.T. has displayed an even steeper growth, as it went from 50 to around 140 from 2015-2025 and this rising pattern is predicted to continue untill 2035 where the applicants would reach roughly 290.
Retail’s applicants have dropped from 400 applicants in 2015 to around 320 in a 10-year period and it is estimated to be around 170 at 2035. Education has illustrated a similar behavior, albeit having a less steep slope that retail, the industry shows a considerable decrease of 300 to around 210 from 2015 to 2025.
