The bar chart provides information about how many households who lived in the USA by their yearly earnings, in the years 2007, 2011 and 2015.
Overall, there was an upward trend in the number of families who made less than $50,000 and more than $100,000, the groups earning in between showed relative stability over the period shown. Interestingly, these groups accounted for the minorities in all years given.
Looking at the groups which showed a rising trend, both the groups who brought less than $25,000 and $25,000-49,999 showed a noticeable rise and then a relative levelling-off( from around 25 to almost 30 mln). Although the figure for more than $ 100,000 category declined slightly(by about 3 mln) in 2011, it rose significantly, to approximately 33 mln housolds in 2015. This was the highest in the whole chart.
However, the remaining two categories, $50,000-74,999 and $75,000-99,999, remained relatively stable at just over 20 mln and just under 15 mln respectively over the years.
