The graph shows correlation between income and the ability to have a household in the United States. The data shown was taken in 2007, 2011, and 2015. There are five categories of incomes shown, each with its own range. The lowest income noted is below 25 thousand dolars per year. Next to it ranged from 25 thousand to exactly below 50 thousand dolars. After that, from 50 thousand to below 75 thousand dolars. The fourth one is from 75 thousand to below 100 thousand dolars. The last one is above 100 thousand dolars.
In 2007, families with annual incomes ranged from 75 thousand to below 100 thousand dolars have the lowest amount of household. While it is obvious that those with more than a hundred thousand dolars income have one of the highest number of households, surprisingly people with 25 thousand dolars to below 50 thousand dolars incomes ranked third, and those with incomes under 25 thousand dolars ranked fourth in 2007.
The unexpected follows through 2011, when the most households in the US was owned by families with annual incomes raanged from 25 thousand dolars to below 50 thousand dolars only, surpassing those with incomes above 100 thousand dolars. While the least amount of households in 2011 is still held by those with incomes ranged from 75 thousand to below 100 thousand dolars, making it the lowest number of households shown in the graph with only around 14 millions of households.
In 2015, citizens with more than 100 thousand dolars income spiked up the number of households, making it the highest data shown with around 33 million households. Even in 2015, those with 75 thousand to below 100 thousand dolars incomes still have the lowest amount of households.
