The bar graph compares the figures of students from four countries chose a to study at a particular European university from 2004 to 2008.

Overall, the figure of Rissia was significantly lower than that of all nation listed. Additionally, while the numbers of students of all countrties experienced increase, the opposite was true in the cause of China.

Started in 2004, China accounted of highest stand, at nearly 30000 application, followed by US, about 20000 application. However, a reverse pattern of two countries, whereas the data of China fell steadly, US grew constantly. By 2006, those data were the similar, at 25000 application. Finally, in 2008, US reached a peak of with 30000 application, China hit a low of around 17500 application.

Regarding the remaining nation, the number of students from Japan started at 7500 application, more then three time that of Russia in 2004. Those number rose continuously, approximately 1500 and roughly 7500 application of Japan and Russia were submitted in 2008 respectively.
