the chart below demonstrates how many people travelled using three main airports , namely John F. Kennedy, Newark and LaGuardia, in New York City from 1995 to 2000. Overall, the passenger’s number who used LaGuardia andNewark airports rose during the years whereas the arrivals of John Kenndey airport showed a slight fluctuation.
In detail, in 1995 LaGuardia ranked at number one airportwith roughly 35 million visitors, John Kennedy was the second one at nearly 25 million ,Newark at around 15 million people.The following year showed a notable increase with passengers for all the three airports however LaGuardia was at 40 million visitors, 35 and 25 million travelers at john kinnedy and Newark respectively. The next year was the best for John Kennedy because it was the most visited airport in 1997 with about 45 millions passengers. LaGuardia
remained increasing and maintained its place as the most visited airport throughout thetimeline peaked at just below 70 in 2000. For Newark it showed stable trend the next three years with almost 40 millions arrivers.On the other hand John Kennedy experienced a slight decline to just below 30 million people before ultimately went up again in 2000 with approximately 45 million people.
