Overall, it is clear that the number of John F. Kennedy airports fluctuated and the number of LaGuardia airports passengers increased significantly while the number of passengers Newark airport grew slightly and then it levelled off until the period. In contrast, LaGuardia became the highest visited airport over the period.
Looking at the details, the passengers of Newark stood at just over 15 million in 1995 and then it climbed steadily to nearly 38 million in 1997. After that, it remained unchanged until the end of the period.
Meanwhile, the passengers of John f. Kennedy began at about 27 million in 1995 after which it rose gradually to around 47 million in 1997. Subsequently, it dropped to 32 million and then rose back to 45 million in 2000.
Furthermore, the passengers of La Guardia started at approximately 35 million passengers in 1995. Thereafter, they experienced a significant increase, going up to around 45 million in 1997. Then, it grew remarkably to about 68 million by 2000.
