Generally speaking, all the five household appliances ownership percentage have an upward trend from 2010 to 2020. Both in 2010 and 2020, the televison has the highest percentage of ownership compared to other house hold appliances. With a slightly lower percentage than television, the refigerator has the second highest ownership percentage, followed by washing machine in third palce. The computer and dishwasher have a noticeable difference with washing machine, refigerator and televison.
In 2010, nearly every households owned a television, the percentage increased by one percentage point in 2020. Similarly, the number of refrigerators ownership has shown a three percent point growth from 2010 to 2020. Washing machine ownership also saw a moderate rise in the 10 years span. The percentage of households owning washing machines reached 92% by the end of 2020. However, the computer and dishwasher have a significant rise from 2010 to 2020. Although the dishwasher was the only household appliances with less than 50% of ownership.
