Overall, the highest proportion of women was employed in both nursery, pre-school and primary school while the highest precentage of men teachers was recorded in univesity in the United Kingdom. In contrast, the same proportion of male and females teachers were recorded in college over the period.
According to the data given in the bar chart, the highest proportion of female teachers claimed in both nursery, pre -school and primary school and these figures stood at around 97% and 92% respectively in given period. Meanwhile, the lowest proprotion of female teachers was recorded in university at about 30% in 2010. Further, the highest proportion of male teachers was recorded university at approximately 70%, while the lowest proportion of male teachers was recorded in nursery and pre-school at 3% in 2010. It is noticeable that, same precentage of male and female teachers were claimed in collage and these figure stood at 50%. Furthermore, secondary school male and female teachers stood at 45% and 55% respectively. Moreover, 52% of male teachers was recorded in private training institute while around 42% of female teachers claimed respectively.
