The bar chart illustrates the people acknowledging news in percentage by various media in a single country in three different years: 2013, 2015, and 2017.
Overall, the television considered that attracted more people than others in all years, making it high at one. Notably, while the internet saw an increase, newspapers experienced a decline between the three years in question. Others like television and radio decreased little, but radio stayed more stable than television, which had an increase after a decline.
Looking first at the categories that significantly changed over time, internet despite being a smallest figure in the first year, had increased more than twofold with a small increase in the middle year. In 2017 (from above 30%), to 60% (in the mid) to well over 60% in the end. Another category with a contrast change was newspapers, which went down from over 10% to roughly 30% in the mid and ended up with just above 20%.
On the other hand, although people spent the largest part of their time on television in 2013, it had halved by the latter year, falling from just under 80% in 2013 to well over 60% in 2015, with soon to about 30%.Falling trends were also seen in radio, with only a little decline, from just over 30% in 2013 to exactly 30% in remaining years 2015 and 2017.
