Overall, the percentage of population in worlds and in all other countries except Ocenia seems growing in almost all the years, which falls in 2020.

From 1975 to 2020, the world population almost increased from around 38% to around 55%. Africa and Asia were the primarily countries which have driven the population in 2020, which was recorded the lowest in 1975. By 2050, a further 50% increase is expected in these regions, which will still remains the least urbanized. In contrast, North America, Europe and Latin America demonstrated some of the highest urbanization rates and continues to grow. North America seems to have highest urbanization by 2050 which is around 90%.
