Overall, the percentage of water uses in agricultural sector is most of all countries, except North America and Europe. However, Central Asia used the highest amount of watere for agricultural purpose over the period.
Agriculture contributed the biggest percentage by using water in South America, South East Asia, Africa and Central Asia, these were 71%, 81%. 84%. and 88% respectively. Following this, water used for domestic work was 77% in Central Asia and South central asia but 9% and 19% were in Africa and South America respectively. In North America and Europe, agricultural fields took 48% and 53%, water while 13% and 15% water used for domestic purpose. Finally, industrial made up 39%. and 32%. to complete their work by water in both of these countries.
