These bar charts are displaying the percentages of both school-aged and college aged boys and girls in secondary school and colleges in same year 2000 in four regions of the world.
Overall, Europe had remarkable achievement in field of education that year, but, Sub-Saharan Africa showed a completely different story where it was slightly lower in both areas. In comparison, Latin America and East Asia had huge numbers in secondary schools that year whereas, colleges, universities saw a decrease in these regions.
Firstly, Europe had huge amount of secondary school students in 2000 where it stood up at 95-100 percent, but colleges and universities were no far behind as they were at 60-70 percent respectively. In contrast, Sub-Saharan Africa had lowest population in secondary schools and colleges where there were no more than 20-30 percent students in schools and 0.2-0.7% in colleges and universities.
Secondly, Latin America and East Asia had same number of students in secondary schools where their numbers were at 45-60% respectively. However, in colleges and universities, both regions didn,t share same numbers, where Latin America stood up at 15-20% respectively and East Asia at 9.5-10% respectively.
