The given line graph demonstrates the percentages of unemployed people in three European countries(Spain, Greece, and Italy) over the period from 1991 to 2021.
Overall, the percentages of unemployed people in Spain and Greece increased over the period, while for Italy, it remained constant. At the beginnig of the period, Spain had the largest percentage of unemployed people, but by the end, Greece catch up with Spain in terms of unemployed people rate.
In 1991, Spain led with approximately 16% of unemployed people, but between 1995 and 2013 it experienced a strong fluctuation, before to significantly fall. At the end of the period, amount of unemployed people in Spain reached 15%.
One the other hand, Italy started with only 10% of unemployed people, after which the figure constantly fluctuated over the period. In 2021, it remained at 10%. Likewise, Greece,which, in 1991, had approximately half as much amount of unemployed people as Spain, experienced a steady fluctuation in the period between 1993 and 2009. However, in 2009, the figure soared and peaked at approximately 27%, before to slightly decrease to 15% in 2021.
