The bargraph compares the expenditure by younger generation over five consumer goods in a particular country over the span of four years.
Overall, the spending on all goods except for clothes and books rose with the time. Furthermore,people spent most of their wealth in food for both years.
In 2010, highest spending was done in meals with approximately 3700 million. It was followed by smartphone with 2600 millions. Similarly, clothes,smartphone accounted for 2500 and 2000 millions respectively. With regards to this less money was used to buy books.
By 2014, spending on food increased by 1000 millions.Smartphone also saw a slight surge in increasing from 2000 to 2700 millions. Although the spending on garments remained plateued for both years.On the other hand the books demand fell down by 50%. In contrast all items spending increased but it was not same for books in both years as it attracted less money among all.
