Bali was next at 1335 couples, which was roughly twice as popular as Costa Rica, with 750 couples. The Maldives ranked in fourth place with 600 couples voting to visit that destination.
Conversely, 124 British couples said they preferred to go to The Lake District, but it was last on the list. Followed by the second least popular place to pick as a honeymoon destination was Spain at 140 votes. In contrast, 209 British couples chose Paris for their honeymoon destination, as opposed to over 432 who chose the Greek islands.
