The graph illustrates the incomes of one country’s in different categories in 2015 and 2016. The table below shows the proportion changes in petroleum products, engineered goods, gems, jewellery, agricultural products and textile categories of exports in 2016 by comparison with 2015.
Overall, the proportion of export earnings in Petroleum products recorded the highest while textiles contributed the lowest figure. Moreover, the percentage change in textiles accounted for the highest share whereas the lowest amount was observed in agricultural products.
First, the number of petroleum products in 2015 recorded for 61 billion while in 2016 the figure slightly increased and accounted 62 billion. Furthermore, engineered goods in 2015 contributed 58 billion. But from 2015 it is stood at 62 billion. By contrast, gems and jewellery category dramatically decreased which amount of 43 billion in 2015 and 41 billion in 2016. In addition, agricultural products recorded equal quantity with 31 billion of export earning in each year. The last category is textiles, which contributed the least in 2015 with 26 billion and 31 billion in 2016.
Second, the percentage change in petroleum products grew for 3% from 2015 to 2016. Similarly, engineered goods rose and represented 8.5%. At the same time proportion of gems and jewellery experienced a gradual decrease and contributed to 5.18%. On the other hand, agriculture products category dramatically increaseв for 0.81%. As for textiles sharply grew which accounted for 15.24%.
