The bar chart illustrates the distribution of waste disposal in a specific country of Europe during three years(2005-2008).
Overall, it can be seen that for the most of the period landfill remained as the most preferable choice to utilize the waste, whilst burning and dumping at sea both were almost equally preferred(favored) choices until 2008.
In 2005, the largest proportion of waste disposal was realized through landfill, accounting for 1800 mil/tones, which was almost threefold of other considered methods. However the following year witnessed a dramatic fall to 1200 in the process of utilization of waste using the landfill method. This trend continued till the end of the shown period, with the landfill stooding at 600, a drop by 3 times compared to the beginning.
Despite the fact that burning of the waste was the least preferable choice among all the considered methods, it started to increase gradually during the following years and finally outwent the remained two methods at nearly 900 mil/tones. On the other hand dumping at the remain almost the same during this time frame, at approximately 600 mil/tones.
