The line graph illustrates the percentage of criminal behaviours in a country in a 30-year period.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that while the car theft rate consistently recorded the highest proportion through the period, the street robbery was the opposite, which remained the lowest figure.
In 1970, car theft and house burglary percentages followed a same pattern that both increased steadily by 0,4%, from 0.4 and 0.2 to 0.8 and 0.6, respectively. The car theft proportion continuously rose to 1% in 1990 before peaking at 1.6%. However, this rate declined sharply by about 0.6% in 2005.
Besides, the house burglary remained unchanged in 5 years from 1980 to 1985 and experienced minor fluctuations between 0.5 and 0.3 in the last 20 years.
Turning to the street robbery proportion, this figure showed no change from 1970 to 1990 with 0%. After that, the data grew gradually by 0.2 % to 2000 before remaining stable at 0.2 %.
