overall, it is clear that LaGuardia attracted the most numbers of travelers during this period, while both John F. Kennedy and Newark experienced a minimal rise in the same time. Although, the number of visitors in John F. Kennedy fluctuated over this period.
As can be seen, the amount of tourists in John F. Kennedy Airport increased from 27 million in 1995 to around 48 million in 1997, which decreased from 37 million to 32 million between 1998 and 1999. Afterwards, it increased by around 13 million in 2000.
However, the figure of passengers in LaGuardia Airport stood at 36 million in 1995, which increased from 40 million in 1996 to around 69 million in 2000. Moreover, there was a rise in the number of visitors in Newark Airport from 17 million in 1995 to around 42 million in 1998, which remained constant for the next 3 years.
