Overall, it is clear that highest amount of water used by Perth while Canberra consumed the least. Most of the water used for agriculture where’s mining had the least contribution in distribution.
Perth used the most water,annual consumption were approximately 300 kilolitre per property. Followed by Brisbane and Adelaide at almost 250 and 240 kilolitre respectively. Approximately 200 kilolitre water were consumed by sydney’s people, followed by Melbourne at 150 KL. Canberra accounted for the least, nearly 140 kilolitre used by this city’s residents.
Majority of the water, less than three quarters were consumed in agriculture. 9% of total distributed water were used in households. The percentage of distributed consumed water for electric and Gase and water supply,sewage and drainage were similar (7%). Other industries used only 4%. Mining took lowest sources of water,only 2% were used in mining.
