The given bar chart provides information about getting news by different age groups. It is clear that, Television is one of the most popular ways of getting news in all three age groups, whereas other sources are less significant.
Television is considered as the main source of getting news, especially among older age whom 55 and over. While the percentage of TV watchers at the of 55+ reaches a peak at 90%, it is 80% for 35-55-years-old and 60% for youngsters. Internet is the second preferred source of getting news. Likewise, the proportion of Internet usage among 18-35 age group is similar to Television, and approximately 45% is middle-aged group. However, only 20% of 55 and over age group use Internet.
Newspaper reading is more common among oldest people, just over 50%.50% of 35-55 age group and 30% for youngest one. Finally, Radio is the least common use, but its popularity increases with age, roughly 25% for youth, and 40% for both age groups.
