The table chart illustrates how of ways people of different age groups get their news. The chart shows percentages in each new sources.
Overall, there are four main new sources: internet, newsapaer, radio, and television. There are variation trends in each age group, consisting of 3 groups: the elders (age 55 years and over), the adults (age between 35 to 55 years), and the young adults (age 18 to 35 years).
Out of four sources, television is the most used source in receiving information. The older age group uses 90 percent, follows by adults group with 80 percent, and lastly with younger one with 60 percent. Whereas, the last place where people to get information is from radio. People in the age group of age 35 to 55 and group of 55 and over, use 40 percent, followed by younger group use about 25 percent.
Internet and newspaper seem to have same amount in overall uses. Internet is mainly used by people aged 18-35 with the percent of 60, then declined to 45 percent and 20 percent as the age group increaed. On the contary, newspaper is mainly used by elders with 55 percent, and slightly lessen in the age group of 35 to 55, with 50, while younger ones used only 30 percent.
