Looking first at Jakarta and Shanghai, the population of Shanghai started at around 12 millions citizens in 1990, which is higher than that of Jakarta standing at around 7 millions. Meanwhile, expected figures of population in Shanghai registered a dramatic drop of the predicted population, while a significant rise was witnessed in the predicted population in Jakarta, equal around 11 millions citizens. To 2000, both Jakarta and Shanghai showed a dramatic jump, respectively 13 and 15 millions people.
Turning to population in Sao Paulo, about 17 millions citizens in 1990 and was predicted around 22 millions people in 2000. Actually, population in Sao Paulo registered a significant rise in from 1990 to 2000, standing at around 24 millions people.
