Overall, women have the highest amount of percentages for consuming the fruit and vegetables in comparison with the children and men. Although children demonstrates lower consumer rates it increases steadily over the time.
It is demonstrated that, womens’ fruit and vegetable consumption rate peaked by passing the 30% in 2006. Between 2001-2006, starting from the lowest percentage of about 22, there is a steady increase. However, after 2006 the rate of consumption decreases slightly and falls just under 30%.
On the other hand, childrens’ and mens’ lowest consumption rate is observed in 2002. Furthermore they share the top percentage rate by being over 25 in 2007 and the similiar increase trend between 2001-2007.
