The cited piecharts provide information about the main reasons of using phones by the teenagers between 2016 and 2019 in an African country.The four reasons were social networks, email, digital camera, phone calls.
It is evident from the piecharts that in 2019, the highest proportion of the adolescents used their mobiles for the purpose of social networking(50%) whereas the lowest proportion of them used phones to make phone calls(5%). In 2018, the highest ratio of teens used their phone to develop their social networking(51%) whereas the least percentage of them used mobiles to make phone calls (11%).
As can be compared from the given piecharts, the percentage of teenagers who used their cellphones for clicking pictures as an alternative to a digital camera was same in the years 2016 and 2017 (15%). The ratio of adolescents who used their phones to make calls, fell by 5% from the year 2016(10%) to 2019(5%).
Overall, the highest percentage of the teenagers used their mobiles to engage in social networking activities ( around 205% collectively) and the lowest percentage of the same was recorded by teenagers who used mobiles to make calls(around 39%).
