in the given pie chart is shown a percentage of food budget the average family spent on restaurant meals in different years. However, there is a line graph where is shown information about number of meals in fast food restaurants and sit-down restaurants.
I’d like to begin with the pie chart, in the 1970 is shown that families prefer much more home cooking more than restaurant meals – which is only 10%. In the year of 1980 it’s obvious that people began to chose restaurants a bit more (15%), but home cooking is steel prevails. In 1990 restaurant meals stand as 35% and only in 2000 the chart shows 50/50 result.
In the line graph presents a data about two kinds of restaurant meals which people chose from 1970 to 2000. From 1970 to approximately 1985 sit-down restaurant meals dominated a bit more than fast food meals, however they both increased in popularity. But from 1985 to 2000 fast food meals suddenly increased and sit-down restaurant meals remained almost the same.
