The charts provide information about the students who graduated MBA in 2012, focusing on the sectors they entered and type of work they performed.
Overall, it is noticeable that, Industry and Finance was the most popular areas for graduates, while Financial management and Business development were the most popular types of work.
If we look at the employment area, the largest segment accounted for 44% and that is Industry, followed by Finance with 23%. By contrast, the figures for public sector and other stood out as the least dominant categories with 7% and 6%, respectively. As for Consultancy, it is made up of 18%.
In terms of nature of work, the largest segment was attributed to Financial management (23%), just ahead of Business development at 21%. Marketing sales also attracted a notable share of graduates (16%), while fewer individuals were involved in corporate planning (10%) and general management (9%). Project management was the least common, attracting only 6% of the graduates.
