the chart illustrate the people who use public libraries and the reason to visit in britain in the year 1991 vs 2000
the chart above shows that both of the chart have the same amount of visit which is 290 million visit with people who borrowed or returning books as the one who dominated the chart
in the year 1991 most of the reason for people going to library is to borrow or returning book showing 65% which dominate almost three fourths of the visitor. the second largest percentage is the one who borrow and return videos which shows 15%. while people who want to obtain information and studying shows only 10%, same thing as the one who want to read newspaper and magazine.
moving forward into the year 2000, the chart have changed. the people who borrow or returning book shows a downtrend by 10% althought it’s still dominate the chart by half of it. the people who’s going to library for studying and receiving informations grows by 20% which is 2 times than before. and the one who borrow or returning videos increased by 3% and the rest of it goes to the one who read newspaper and magazine
this can be conclude that some of people change their habits from only going to library to borrow some books and return it back into actually study and receiving information using it’s facility that they provide.
