The bar charts compare the amount of product by mass (MT) made by top three regions across several kinds of dairy productions in 2012.
It is clear that European Union had the dominant sources of production for milk and cheese, whereas the same trend for butter and milk powder could be seen in India and China, respectively. Additionally, milk tend to be produced most.
At 142,970 MT, EU outnumbered the amount of mass products from India and the US at 127,000 and 90,038 respectively. Mirroring this trend, EU also produced the largest production of cheese at 7,120 MT, while the figure for the United States was only 4,925 MT. The share of Brazil was below a tenth of EU.
Regarding butter and milk powder products, India and China were the most productive regions at 7,500 and 1,200 MT, respectively. In addition, the amounts of butter were 2,040 for EU and 810 for the US, while the weights of milk powder production in New Zealand and EU were 1,110 and 770, respectively.
