The pie charts show the comparison between the percentage of world spending and world population, which the former is divided by expenditures, while the latter by continents.
According to the first chart, food has the highest percentage of just a quarter of total spending around the globe. The second largest consumption is transportation, which is accounted for 18% and followed by housing that contributed to 12% of entire expense. However, the proportion of clothing has the lowest spending of 6% overall, while the remaining 40% is spent on other elements.
In the second chart, there is a wide disparity between the amount of people who live in Asia compared to other continents. Asian occupants made up by more than a half of the world population, which accounted for slightly below 60%, whereas both Europe and America contributed 14% to entire inhabitants in the planet. In addition, Africa has the lowest populations of 10% overall, while people live in other continents accounted for the remaining 5%.
