School halls were the second most popular location, contributing 24% of the total, while only 10% of the dance classes were held in college-based studios, which is lower than those in community halls and other locations.
Regarding the types of dance classes, ballet had the highest enrollment among children under 11, with around 600 participants, which is double the number of students engaged in modern dance classes. Despite this, modern dance still attracted over 500 students, significantly more than ballet’s 300 participants. Notably, tap dance had a similar enrollment in both age groups, with approximately 430 students in each.
