Modern classes, on the other hand, draw more students from the 11-16 demographic, with over 500 active pupils compared to only 300 that are under 11 years old.
As for the locations of these classes, the majority of classes are set up in private studios, while the rest are divided across a wide range of venues. In detail, a staggering 48% of all dance classes take place in private studios, which is double that of after-school school halls, at 24%. Meanwhile, college-based studios are the least utilized for these classes at 10%, lower than the corresponding figure for community halls & other locations, at 18%.
