The pie chart displays information about the place and type of dance courses that the younger population of a town in Australia attends. Overall, we can note that most attendees were concentrated in private studios. An additional point to note is that tap dances had the slightest contrast in their age demographics, while the attendance base for the remaining dance styles showed a more disproportionate age distribution.
Private studios had the highest share of the local youth taking part in them, with their portion reaching almost half of the total number. School halls, community halls, and other places received 42%, whereas the studios based in colleges got only the remaining 10%.
The majority of young people were attracted by ballet, with more than 900 visitors, while the remaining dance forms maintained an approximately equal number of around 800. Tap dances had a nearly proportionate distribution of dancers by age (having 400 kids below 11, and the same amount above that age), whilst ballet had around 600 older participants to 300 young ones, and modern dance classes accumulated somewhere about 500 to 300.
