The given bar graph illustrates expenses for five major groups in four different countries i.e USA, Canada, UK and Japan during 2009. Overall, It can be clearly seen that cost for housing in all countries is the highest one while clothing and healthcare categories consume very small amount of total budget during the whole time.
Firstly, for housing category the highest amount was spent by US about 27% that fell to about 22% by Canada and again increased to almost 24% by UK. The amount for housing then again decreased to round about 23% by Japan. Secondly, there was a significant elevation noticed for food category in all four countries from about 14% to almost 23%.
Then, for transportation category the cost slightly increased from 17% to 20% for US and Canada respectively. After that, the values decline till 10% for Japan. There is a considerable decrease in health care cost from around 7% to almost 2% for US and UK respectively. The cost by Japan showed a growth upto about 4%. The cost for clothing was noted same for US and Japan while slightly eleviated to around 6% by Canada and UK.
