The bar chart and the pie chart illustrate differences data of the five reasons and differences of the six main issues of the travelling public in United State during 2009.
Overall, according to the bar chart, almost half of the participants used “To and from work” for the reason of travel and the lowest is to visit friends or relatives. However, based on pie chart, the main issue of the most of the participants is the price of travel is too expensive and a very small number of participants have space for pedestrians for the main issue of travelling.
In United States, 2009, roughly 49% of participants have reason “To and from work” followed by personal reasons, shopping, social or recreation, and visit friends or relatives which are 19%, 16%, 10%, and 6% respectively. Therefore, the reason most peoplecan travel is because of they commute to and from work.
Meanwhile, the main issues for people to travel in 2009 is the price of travel, which is approximately 36% of people have same issues and followed by safety concerns, aggresive drivers, highway congestion, access to public transport, and space for pedestrians with 19%, 17%, 14%, 8%, and 6% respectively. Thence, the issue most people got is about finace risk.
