The 3 pie charts illustrate the average consumption percentages of 3 potentially unhealthy nutrients, specifically in the USA. Overall, the 3 nutrients are sodium, saturated fat and added sugar. It is clear that, in the provided graphs, we can observe that both sodium and saturated fat are mostly consumed at dinner, while added sugar- as a snack.
Firstly, in the first 2 pie diagrams, is shown that at dinner, sodium and saturated fat are mainly eaten by fellow USA citizens, the percentage levels being of 43% and 37%, respectively. However, as for added sugar, the percentages of meals at dinner consist half the ones for sodium(23%).
Regarding the other meals of the day, breakfast shows a fairly similar percentage for all 3 of the nutrients, being under 20. For lunch, we have quite similar results in the cases of sodium and saturated fat, being just over one-fourth of the total percentage, whereas for added sugar it is slightly lower. The snack percentage is at peak for added sugar, with 42%, and, in contrast, really low for sodium and saturated fat.
