The amount of restaurants in 1960 was about 500. The statistic has been increased steadily and had reached over 9,000 restaurants in 2009. However, the proportion of restaurants had been declined slightly but at the end of 2015 the proportion had attained to 9,000 repeatedly which is a significant amount and it has correspondence to the enthusiasm of Indian cuisine.
