The given bar graph illustrates information about proportion of masses who were impacted by traffic, train, aircraft and industry noise by day and by night in towns and countryside areas of Europe in 2007. The data is given in numbers.
In an overview, it can be clearly seen that the majority of individuals were influenced by noise of traffic in both metropolitan and village regions in the given time period.
Now, turning towards the details, in urban area, 64 humans were affected by traffic noise during daytime which was the highest, a slight decrease of 16 can be seen during night. This was followed by noise of train, 10 people were affected by this in cities by day. A gradual decline was observed during darkness which accounted for 8. Moreover, number of persons influenced by aircraft noise during the day and night were 4 and 1 respectively. Although, noise produced by industry affected only 1 person which decreased to 0.25 during night.
Probing ahead, in rural area, traffic noise influenced 34 masses during day time which drastically decreased to 24 during darkness. In addition, sound emitted by train affected 8 masses during daytime. A significant decline of 2 can be observed by night. However, a small proportion of masses who were affected by sound of aircraft during the day and night was noticed which was 2 and 1. Additionally, no sound was generated by industry neither during daytime no or by darkness in countryside.
