The two bar charts illustrate the proportion of male and female students of various age groups who studied in Australia for full-time and part-time education by 2006. Overall, in both sexual, most students who were 15 to 19 years old prefered study part-time, while the 30s group tended to full-time education.
Regarding Males, part-time educated was mostly chose by people belonging to the 20-24s group with 40%, nearly four times higher than that of the 15-19 age group. The student who in 25-29s and 30s or older shared the same percentage, with 8%. About the proportion of full-time choices, 20-to-24-years-old people took the first place with 12%, compared to 10% of the 30 and over age group. Additionally, student in the teo remain group took account for 6% to 8%.
Moving to Females, similarly to Males, most of them who belonging to 20-24 age group took part in part-time class, with 42%. Besides, 17% female students who were 15 to 19 years old studied part-time while only 8% and 6% students in remaining groups chose this type of education. The percentage of 20 to 24 years old and 30 years ols or older were 13% and 12% respectively, followed by 8% and 7% for the 25-29s and the 15-19s.
